At Triad Osteopathic Consultations, my mission is to provide personalized, functional, integrative healthcare tailored to each patient's needs. I focus on treating the whole person, promoting wellness and preventing illness through Osteopathic Principles and Treatments developed by the founder of Osteopathy -Dr. Andrew Taylor Still D.O.

About Dr. Alan Schenne, D.O.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, I began my fascination with human biology, chemistry and anatomy at an early age- working first as a Hospital Volunteer, Lifeguard, EMT and Pharmacy Technician before college. I was educated at the University of Washington for my undergraduate degree in Anthropology, focusing my studies on Ethnobotany and Shamanism. In 1992, I attended Des Moines University for my Osteopathic Medical Education (Doctor of Osteopathy-D.O.) and then on to Detroit, MI to perform my Internship and Residency in Family Practice at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital. I then completed an additional Fellowship year in Osteopathic Manipulation Medicine/Neuro-Musculoskeletal Medicine (OMM/NMM) under the mentorship of Dr. T. Reid Kavieff, D.O at Botsford General Hospital. I have worked 29 years as an employed Family Practice doctor, but have decided to follow my intuition that our fractured Modern Healthcare, Insurance and Pharmaceutical Companies are not the best models to help patients advocate for their individual wellness.

Scope of practice
I offer a range of services including: Complex chronic disease management, Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments (OMT), Functional medicine consults, medical acupuncture, metabolic evaluations, musculoskeletal injections, human biome management and repair, lifestyle modification guidance and nutritional counseling.
My goal is to find the treatment plan that works best for you and your unique needs.
